When blessed nest founder Heather Anderson injured her right hand in 2002, she was told that her
career as an Interior Designer and Seamstress was over. She had to take all of the things she
knew how to do, and figure out what to do next.
She wanted a way to combine all of her experience,
from sewing to being a Nanny. Around the same time a friend had just given birth to her first
daughter. She was having trouble breastfeeding, and the nursing pillows available to her at
that time only added to her frustration. She was certain that Heather could come up with
something better. And she did.
