Serendipity
The owner and creator of Serendipity, Anne Sofie Tobiasen, wants you to identify with the meaning
of the company name: “The luck of finding something nice.” The name is also inspired by the Latin
word serena, which means pure and clear. Combined, these elements crystallize the mission which the
company embraces.

Serendipity makes infant and children’s wear, as well as linens strictly committed to using the finest
certified organic yarns and the purest materials offered. All prints are original Serendipity designs.
The Scandinavian design suits a casual, yet, romantic style – a bit reminiscent of the 70’s. Clothes
are naturally made to encourage little ones to feel comfortable and playful. Wonderful details such
as crib duvets with loose tie ends evoke a European sensibility. All cotton used by Serendipity
bears an additional sign assurance – the European SKAL Certification of Organic Cotton.
"...cultivate
an organic conscious-
ness
& make it a larger part of daily life "
Good for the earth and the families who inhabit it, organic cotton keeps chemicals out of our
soil and away from our children’s skin. It is grown without the use of fertilizers and pesticides
and employs only low-impact dyes, free of chemical coloring and heavy metals.
Further, the after-treatment of Serendipity fabrics consist of a simple gentle wash and tumble.
Softeners like silicone are never used and yet the product is remarkably soft.
